Where is the price of petrol going?
A gallon hit the $5 average for the first time over the weekend. And the price hike is unlikely to stop there. With the start of the summer travel season and cuts in Russian oil shipments due to the war in Ukraine, oil prices in world markets are rising.
According to Tom Kloza, global head of energy analysis at OPIS, the national average for gasoline in the US could be closer to $6 by the end of this summer.
