Assam In the Raha town of Nagaon district, a heart-wrenching incident took place. A 12-year-old Karbi girl was allegedly burnt there on Thursday (22 April 2021).
According to the Time 8 report, the girl worked in a house and was seeking permission from the owner of the house to go home quickly. However, the owner of the house denied this and after that the accused burnt him alive by pouring kerosene on the minor. It is being told on social media that the incident took place at 2 pm on Thursday.
It is being told that the deceased girl Sumila Rongungpi was working at the house of the accused owner for the past 5 years.
The Nagaon police have arrested two suspects Prakash Borthakur and his son Nayamoni Borthakur in this regard. It was also informed that fast track investigation is being done under the supervision of senior officials.

Expressing anger at this incident Karbi The Students Union said, “We strongly condemn the brutal killing of the Karbi girl.” She was working with her employer at Roha in Morigaon, Assam for the past 5 years. We demand death penalty for the accused and compensation to the victim’s family. If the Assam government is not able to punish the culprits, then we will fight a legal battle. ”
In this case, the Director General of Police of Assam has given information by tweeting that the girl, who used to work here, has described it as suicide. It is currently suspected that the girl has been killed and burnt.
As per her employer, the girl committed suicide.
However, after initial inspection, it is suspected that she was murdered and then burnt.
She was also underage to be working as a domestic help.
Therefore, two accused were taken in to custody immediately.

After preliminary investigation, our team found his claim to be suspicious. “
It has been informed by the police that the body of the girl has been sent for postmortem. The alleged pictures of the deceased girl are going viral on social media, in which she is lying on her knees with her head on the ground. Apart from this, a plastic jar and matches can also be seen in the photographs.
