WWE Raw: This episode of WWE Raw was amazing and easily one of the best wrestling shows of the year. Many heavy championship and non-title matches were held. WWE is also continuing the storylines for Fastlane 2023.
This episode of WWE Raw was full of good things but on some occasions the company was also a little disappointed in terms of booking this show. So, in this article we will discuss 2 good and 2 bad things about this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
1- Good thing about WWE Raw: Main Event
The main event match on WWE Raw was great. Judgment Day has had matches against Kevin Owens and Sami Zane multiple times. However, this Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title match between them is interesting. There was a big commotion at ringside as well.
The feud between Dominic Mysterio and JD McDonagh against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso made things great. In the end, Judgment Day won by cheating like the top heel faction. After the match, a fierce fight was seen between all the stars. Overall, the main event match and the segment that followed were great.
1- Bad thing: Rhea Ripley will not come for the second week in a row
Right now, the biggest superstar in WWE Raw’s women’s division is Rhea Ripley. She holds the Women’s World Championship and is a part of the Judgment Day faction. Riya and her faction took Raw on their shoulders. Along with the Judgment Day storyline, Riya also dominated the women’s division.
In such a situation, Rhea Ripley not appearing in two consecutive episodes of WWE Raw is a disappointing thing. Ripley has never faced that many good opponents during her title run and now the women’s roster seems to be dwindling but Ripley is out of action. Ripley being away from TV this week is a bad thing.
2- Good thing: Dragon Lee vs. Dominic Mysterio match
Dominic Mysterio’s NXT North-American Championship is at stake against Dragon Lee on WWE Raw. This is Dragon Lee’s first match on the main roster and he performed very well here. Dragon’s moves look great and Dominic also looks like a top heel.
Dominic finally dominated the ropes and won by pinning Dragon Lee with a Frog Splash. The two stars proved that they are the future of the company. Despite the loss, Dragon Lee also explained to the management with his performance that he is fully ready to enter the main roster.
2- Bad thing: Not giving much time to Bronson Reed vs Otis match
The singles match between Bronson Reed and Otis was seen on Raw. Both are known for their large size and strength. Their match saw some strong action and so the reactions of the fans are worth watching. WWE gave him less TV time.
There were some matches in the show that lasted longer. Their time would be reduced and more time would be given to Bronson Reed and Otis. This match lasted only a few minutes. The company has definitely disappointed all the fans in this matter.
