Police in Delhi, the country’s capital, saved the lives of 35 Corona-infected patients. On Sunday (April 18, 2021) at Mansaram Hospital in Nihal Vihar, sudden coronary insufficiency claimed the lives of 35 corona-infected patients. Despite considerable efforts, when the hospital could not get oxygen supply, the hospital administration sought help from the Delhi Police. The police, after much effort, contacted one of the oxygen suppliers of Bawana and arranged for ten cylinders and later handed over ten more cylinders to the hospital.
Now the Delhi Police Commissioner has praised this move of the police. The police commissioner tweeted, “While it may be short in this difficult period, I appreciate the initiative taken by Delhi Policemen to provide relief to Delhiites, including the Nihal Vihar Police.” I also thank the people of Delhi wholeheartedly. Apart from this, he told in another tweet that with the help of Delhi Police Hamdard Foundation and Seva Bharti, the police is setting up 3 covid care centers in Shahdara, Rohini and Dwarka for families. Shahdara is in function with 78 beds (20 oxygen). Rohini will soon operate with 20 beds (10 oxygen).

At the same time, the sudden oxygen exhaustion was reported at Amarila Hospital in Janakpuri. After this, oxygen was transported to the hospital. According to news agency ANI, Delhi Police provided oxygen here after receiving information about lack of oxygen at Amarlila Hospital in Janakpuri. An oxygen cylinder was brought from Kirtinagar, saving 32 lives. Delhi Police arranged for 11 cylinders.

Significantly, at around 1:30 pm on Sunday afternoon Mansaram Hospital Director of Rajesh Dabas called the police and said that 35 Kovid patients are on oxygen support here. Their oxygen supply is about to end. Rajendra Dabas also said that he asked for help from several authorities, but no response was received from anywhere.
After this, Additional DCP Sudhanshu Dhama immediately contacted several officials and talked to them about this. Under the direction of ACP Ashish, two teams were instructed from Nihal Vihar to immediately go to Mundka and Bawana to arrange oxygen cylinders. 10 oxygen cylinders were delivered within half an hour. After this the total including 10 more cylinders 20 oxygen Cylinders were transported. The Delhi Police’s quick action saved the lives of 35 Corona patients today.
Let us know that during the lockdown last year, the human face of the Delhi Police was seen. In Badarpur, Delhi, the police took a pregnant woman to the hospital on time. Pankaj, the father of the newborn girl, thanked the Delhi Police for this, saying, “On April 1, when my wife was suffering childbirth, I called many helpline numbers like 108,102,1031 etc. But could not be contacted. I then called the Delhi Police, who reached us in 20 minutes and took us to the hospital. We are grateful to him. ”
