Monterrey.- A man and a woman were killed, as well as five people, including three women, in a shooting attack at the Distrito F bar on del Estado Avenue in the Tecnológico neighborhood, south of Monterrey.
At approximately 7:00 am, the explosion of a firearm was recorded. Officials said that a source close to the events specified that approximately 80 shots were fired in the Tech District area, between Filosofos and Agronomos.
When security elements arrived, they found a dead man outside the establishment, and a woman without vital signs inside the bar.
It was reported that Red Cross paramedics transferred the five injured to various hospitals. The identity of the dead and injured has not been ascertained yet. It was learned that it was armed men who arrived in a compact black vehicle and started firing on people in the area.
The place was cordoned off while ministerial agents as well as specialist and criminal services work to investigate inquiries relating to this violent act.
The Tecnológico neighborhood is a residential area in the south of Monterrey, known for its student atmosphere, and for housing various educational institutions, including the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
The attack has caused panic among the residents of the area, apart from the fact that it is an area with various businesses, and the employees were taken by surprise, as they saw police mobilization when they reached their workplace.
Users of the social network pointed out that in addition to videos of firearms exploding being published on the site, the business where the shooting took place is often open outside the hours established by municipal authorities.

Just this past May 27, a manslaughter in the municipality of San Nicolás resulted in the death of one person, as well as injuries to a child and an adult.
The incident was recorded in the Constituentes Park, located at Prolongación Churubusco and General Jerónimo Treviño streets, in the fifth sector of the Constituentes neighborhood of Queretaro.
The first reports indicated that armed men were following the victim, and that they shot him after being caught. The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Raul Antonio Jesso Campos.
Meanwhile, a child and an adult playing in the park were injured. Police announced that the gunfire first wounded the minor and then the adults, who were fleeing from the gunfire.
Agents from the San Nicolas Public Security Secretariat arrived at the scene and confirmed the man’s death.
