2022 Stanley Cup Playoff Game 7 Live Updates: Bruins vs Hurricanes Get Off to a Huge NHL Saturday

The two most beautiful words in games? Game 7. Lucky for hockey fans, Saturday will be a day full of excitement 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs The first round sees three game 7s in a single day.

The action will begin at 4:30 p.m. ET in North Carolina, with the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes available on ESPN and FuboTV (try it for free). Boston lived to see another day after tying the series with a 5-2 win on Thursday at TD Garden. However, Saturday’s game will be a tough road test as the Bruins have yet to win a game in Hurricane Zone. Carolina showed serious home-ice advantage, beating Boston 15–4 in three games of the series played at the PNC Arena.

Tampa Bay got an extra game after pushing Game 6 into overtime and eventually secured a 4-3 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs thanks to a goal by Brayden Point. This series has been very close and so far no team has won two in a row. Toronto is coming in hungry and to prove something the Maple Leafs haven’t won a playoff series in 18 years. Meanwhile, Lightning is chasing a Stanley Cup three-peat. Their winner-take-all matchup is scheduled for 7PM ET on TNT.

The Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers will go head-to-head (try for free) on ESPN and FuboTV at 10 p.m. ET. Both arenas have had tumultuous and close games, but the main trend is that the team that scores first goes on to win. Edmonton made Game 7 possible with a 4-2 win on Thursday. Evander Kane scored two goals in that game, and will likely remain the key to advance for the Oilers offense. The left winger has recorded seven goals in this series, adding him to the NHL lead in this year’s playoffs with Minnesota’s Kirill Kaprizov and Pittsburgh’s Jake Guenzel.
