Popular nutritionist Azra Khan posted a video on her Instagram in which she talks about developing healthy habits to maintain an ideal weight and the key is to exercise every day and eat clean for most part of the week,

Khan said, ‘Weight loss is important, but it is more important not to increase the lost weight. So always make sure the things you do to lose weight are practical and sustainable.”

Along with his video, he shared a long caption in which he listed three things one must do to lose weight. She urges people not to chase the numbers on the scale as this often leads to crash diets and short cuts that will give temporary results but the numbers on the weight scale will not last long.

According to him, there are three habits to maintain the golden weight:

work out: Create a workout routine, the intensity of your choice but without exception, create an exercise routine to stay fit 4 days a week

to walk: Walk at least 8,000 steps daily (including weekends) along with workouts. Walking is important for maintaining not only weight, but overall health. Physical activity is important for maintaining weight loss.

Eating a balanced diet: To stay on weight, you have to lose weight and not gain weight again, lifestyle changes have to be made. The balance between healthy food and junk has to be tilted towards 80 percent healthy food with junk making up only 80 percent of the diet. Ideally, stick to healthy food most of the time and skip the junk indulgences at gatherings, festivals etc.
