Many states in the United States plan to provide direct financial assistance to their citizens in September with the purpose of helping them with their economic needs.

1. State of Washington
Families and individuals who meet the requirements can get up to $1,200 in tax credits from this state..
The deadline to request this tax credit is December 31 and you will be asked for your Social Security number or individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN), a copy of your federal tax return and other personal information.
2. Minnesota
The state has been giving out tax refunds since mid-August, and some people may still be eligible.
The refund they can get is up to $1,300 dollars.
Married couples filing jointly with income of $150,000 or less can receive up to $520.
People who file taxes individually and have an annual income of $75,000 or less can receive $260.
They also receive $260 for each dependent, up to a maximum of three.
3. New Mexico
Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico implemented tax refunds for local citizens and provided economic stimulus payments to those not required to file tax returns.
Married couples filing jointly qualify for a $1,000 tax refund.
Individuals filing separate tax returns, whether single or married, are also eligible for a $500 refund..
Eligible New Mexico residents who file their 2021 income tax return will automatically receive refunds.
