360 degree camera from Sunroof, the new Mahindra Scorpio will get such premium features

Mahindra is preparing to launch its new Scorpio SUV. The new generation Mahindra Scorpio will be further premium. Recently, some pictures of the new model have been leaked, most of which have been revealed in the interior features. According to Zigwheels, the new SUV will have premium features like captain seat and dedicated mode for offroading. The SUV gets a low-range gearbox.

Such will be the interior features
Speaking of built-in features, the new Scorpio will also get a touchscreen infotainment system, which will support Alexa (like the XUV 700) with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will also have features like sunroof, dual-zone climate control, Sony sound system and roof mounted speakers. For selfies, the car will have ABS with airbags, EBD, parking sensor, 360-degree camera and electronic stability control.

Engine and potential price
Speaking of the engine, the same 2.2 liter diesel and 2 liter turbo petrol engine can be offered in the new generation Scorpio of XUV700. Both these engines generate 185PS and 185PS of power respectively. It will get a 6-speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive as standard. Alternatively, it will feature 6-speed automatic and 4-wheel drive.

The company is expected to launch the new Scorpio in the first quarter of 2022. Its expected price may start from Rs 10 lakh. The new Scorpio will compete directly with compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Tata Harrier and MG Hector.
