The Damascus sword comes from Damascus, the capital of Syria. The material of this sword is made of steel which is different from others, namely Damascus steel and other additional materials as well.

Damascus swords contain carbon nanotubes whose strength can exceed 30 times that of the strongest steel. The Damascus sword is also so sharp and strong, it can cut iron.

2. Yakhchali

Yakhchal is a place that serves to accommodate all the food by using nature to keep it fresh. You can say that Yakhchal is an ancient version of refrigerator having a conical shape.

Yakhchal is found on the Iranian mainland. Inside there is a pool to hold water mixed with lime sand and ash whose function is to make it waterproof so that the water does not get moldy.

3. Ancient Roman Concrete

The ancient Roman concrete structure of the Colosseum in Rome has indeed managed to astonish modern scientists. Because concrete is more than 2000 years timeless.

Research shows that modern concrete dishes are very different from ancient Roman concrete. Ancient Roman concrete was made from a mixture of volcanic ash, lime water, and seawater.

This mixture is melted at a low temperature to reduce the carbon content in the cement. It was this recipe that kept Roman cement alive longer than modern buildings.
