Thousands of Colombians are choosing to leave the country in search of new opportunities and experiences. The most common destinations include the United States, Canada and Europe, where the cost of living is high and people must first invest their savings, which are often insufficient due to currency exchange, before finding a permanent job.
The economic part will always be one of the first factors to determine when planning a migration; Calculations are made as to what the minimum income should be to live comfortably, taking into account expenses such as housing rent, food and others.

This initiative aims to pay up to $28,000 to foreigners who decide to move to its territory and $9,000 for each child.
Unlike other places, people who move have to purchase a home that costs more than $200,000.
Further requirements are:

- Commit to living in the city for 10 years. If the family wants to leave the place, they have to pay back the money in full.
