Kolamaavu Kokila: Also known as ‘Koko’, the comedy-crime film released in 2018. Starring Nayanthara in the lead role, the film is directed by debutant Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Lyca Productions. The film was also made in Hindi with the name ‘Good Luck Jerry’, with Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role. The film earned over Rs 4 crore on the first day of release and over Rs 14 crore during the first week in Tamil Nadu.

The film is produced by Vishal Film Factory. ‘Irumbu Thirai’ was made on a budget of Rs 14.5 crore but it collected around Rs 104 crore at the box office.
LKG: The political satire film LKG was released in 2019 under the banner of Wales Film International. It stars RJ Balaji and Priya Anand in the lead roles and the film is the directorial debut of KR Prabhu. This film was made with a budget of Rs 3.5 crore. It did well at the box office and collected 5 times more than the investment. This film is RJ Balaji’s first lead role. He also wrote the story and script of the film along with two other writers.
96: The romantic drama released in 2018. Directed by cinematographer-turned-director Premkumar, the film features Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in the lead roles. The film is produced under the banner of Seven Screen Studios. Premkumar completed the scripting of the film in 2015, but started the project in 2017. The film received more than 30 awards in 2019. It was made with a budget of Rs 18 crore and collected Rs 55 crore.
