Psychopaths and narcissists are people with highly manipulative personality disorders. They will try hard to cover up so you don’t see their true intentions. In searching for their victims, psychopaths and narcissists exhibit almost the same behavior. 1. They make unreasonable assumptions about potential victims
Psychopaths and narcissists will try to make assumptions about their potential victims or things they find interesting. These assumptions can be either positive or negative. The goal is to manipulate potential victims.
2. Don’t ask personal questions
Generally, when they start out they will only talk about their life and don’t ask much about the personal life of the potential victim. They are not very interested in getting to know potential victims for real.
3. They tell secret things
In carrying out their actions, they will reveal things that potential victims should not know. This is their way of building trust. They want potential victims to feel special for knowing the secret and this is the best way to start working on their intentions.
4. They will ask for help
They will ask for help from potential victims, until finally the assistance becomes a bigger thing. By getting the potential victim to agree to help, they will begin to control the potential victim. Their goal in doing this is to make potential victims feel that they are needed and happy about it.
5. They are quick to vent
They will quickly open up to potential victims. Their goal is to do this to gain sympathy from potential victims. When they want something and the potential victim refuses, they use this tactic to make the potential victim feel bad and are forced to do or fulfill what they want.
