1. Don’t rely on makeup alone as sunscreen
These days, it’s easy to find makeup that offers a level of Sun Protection Factor (SPF). However, they do not always provide broad spectrum protection. This means that it protects you against UVB rays, the rays that cause skin redness and sunburn, but not UVA rays that cause wrinkles and bruises on the skin.

Chronic stress, combined with cortisol production, can also accelerate the aging process by increasing inflammation and the production of skin-damaging free radicals.

Cleaning the lips often contributes to the formation of lines around the mouth, notes the Mayo Clinic. When you drink with a cigarette, you activate the muscles around the lips; the more they are stimulated, the more they become wrinkled in the skin, as we lose elastin in old age.

7. Don’t forget to wear glasses or sunglasses
Most people only wear sunglasses to reduce the glare of the sun. But sunglasses should be worn every day. Even on cloudy and cold days!
