Salt Spa at Reeds
Reeds at Shelter Haven, Stone Harbor
Reeds is the crme de la crme of the shore gateway at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor. Each room feels like a mini oasis, you can kayak or go paddleboarding from the resort’s dock, and don’t even get us started about the bay view at Bucket, the open-air restaurant. It’s no surprise that Oprah is here whenever she’s in town. Its spa, the Salt Spa at The Reeds, will make it even more difficult to leave. While you can certainly opt for a massage, facial, mani/pedi, haircut and colour, tanning sesh, or flotation therapy, you will be exempt from not trying mud treatments or scrubs in a Turkish bath – its only Merciful under the same edge.

No visit to Cape May is complete without a stop at Congress Hall. Sure, it’s easy to sip cocktails in the Adirondack chairs, but don’t skip the Sea Spa. Of course if you’re riding alone there are options, but where’s the fun in that?

What sets this Asbury Park wellness center apart is that it operates as both a day spa and fitness space. This way, you can relax in every possible way. Kur’s spa services include a variety of massages (such as an Ayurvedic massage adapted to your dosha, or your specific vitality), skin care treatments, and reflexology. If you want to get your body moving, there’s an on-site yoga studio that doubles as a personal training space.
Spa Avalon

Located in the heart of Avalon, this day spa is open year-round, with hours changing with the seasons. Offerings include seven different massages (all of which come with complementary aromatherapy), a range of facials and skin care treatments, chemical peels, manis/pedis, and hair removal.
