A key week for YPF: the New York office announces the results of the five-year plan

In the event, which will be held at the New York Wall Street venue, where the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) operates, the president of YPF, Pablo González, will be present.

In the oil company they mean that the meeting can also count before the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa. On the occasion of the so-called “YPF Day”, the authors of the company will present the results of the quarter of 2022 on the New York Stock Exchange.

YPF shares are going through a strong recovery in that market, ending last week at US$11.93 in the middle of a higher rally that began in the middle of last year, after reaching the US$2.91 level.

At next Friday’s event, they will present a five-year plan for the period 2023-2027.

As part of the company’s plans, investments in infrastructure works aimed at exporting markets for the resources that exist from the unconventional formation of Vaca Muerta.

In this sense, the two main objectives of the company for the five-year construction of a plant for the production of Natural Gas (LNG) in partnership with Petronas Malaysia, which will require the construction of a new gas pipeline from Vaca Muerta; with an initial investment of US $ 10 billion.

The company also announced the so-called Vaca Muerta Sur Pipeline, its project that will be open to the participation of other companies, which will build a 700-kilometer pipeline to the coast of the Río Negro, together with a mega-termination port.

In the latest presentation of the results corresponding to the third quarter of 2022, YPF announced that it reached an adjusted EBITDA of US$1,500 million, with a profit of US$2,900 million, 60% higher than those of the same period in 2021.

For its part, the total production of hydrocarbons accumulated to the last September counted 505 thousand barrels of equivalent per day, with an increase of 9% year on year, in which crude oil grew by 7% and gas by 9%.
