In the car transformation industry, Mansory has made a name for itself with extreme body kits built for the most high-performance and luxurious vehicles. However, his latest creation has nothing to do with him: The German trainer returns to the world of golf.
This is not the first time that Mansory has designed a golf car. In 2013, it surprised with its own version of the Garia Roadster and currently offers a full range of accessories for the Garia-branded model.
In any case, those are the jobs that take golf carts to the next level without worrying about cost. And is that Mansory hasn’t revealed how much this unusual kit costs, but considering the materials used for the occasion and the option owners have to customize it, it’s one of the most expensive on the market. Might be one of the costlier ones.
The starting point is a luxurious golf car, designed in 2016 by Mercedes: the Garia Supersport. It is 2.4 meters long, 1.2 wide and 1.6 high: it weighs 520 kg and has a payload of up to 350 kg.
The overall design remains largely intact, but the mansory touch is evident: the entire bodywork is made of carbon fiber with turquoise accents. The German tuner has added a custom grille, front skid plate and large fenders. It is accompanied by 14-inch gloss black alloy wheels and low-profile tyres.
A very mansory-style interior
For the interior of the Garia Supersport, Mansori has chosen leather, again in turquoise, for the upholstery of the seats and dashboard: the seat belts and steering wheel are matching. The dashboard is also covered with the same material.
The passenger compartment is also equipped with a 10.1-inch screen for the infotainment system, air conditioning and a Bluetooth audio system located on the roof.
Limited by rule
Mansory’s Garia SuperSport is powered by an 8 kW (10.7 hp) electric motor, as its top speed is limited to 70 km/h in Europe and 40 km/h in the United States as standard.
However, its autonomy is considerable considering the type of vehicle: its lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 10.24 kWh, promising a range of 81 kilometers on a single charge. More than enough numbers to tour most golf courses.
