Sandra is a young ‘TikToker’ from Zaragoza currently living in Miami who narrates her adventures in the other side of the world through her videos. According to her account on her social network, where about one and a half million followers have accumulated, the young woman went to study the final courses of the institute in the United States and fell in love with a guy. The two lived for some time in Zaragoza and then decided to move to Miami.
The ‘influencer’ tries to use his network to send a positive message. “Be and Let Be” is the motto he uses on Instagram. She also posts about her favorite food, her travels and her lifestyle. One of the videos that he uploaded recently and that didn’t take long to go viral is about the things he misses most from Spain, a country he hasn’t been to for five years , living in the United States.
“What I miss most about life on the street is that everyone walks everywhere, there are always people on the streets, practically at any time,” Sandra begins. He also appreciates the Spanish public transport network, which unlike American ones are “not scary”. “New York is the only city in this country that uses the subway and it’s not the safest in the world,” he explains.
The Lady of Zaragoza states that the young woman yearns for “the festivities of the neighbourhoods, towns, cities” and especially for “pillars”. “It doesn’t exist here,” he laments.
He recalls “the streets smell at lunchtime when people have freshly cooked food and it smells like cooking”, since in the United States, unless “you pass a McDonald’s You don’t smell like street food”.
But what the Zaragoza woman remembers most is “more Spanish food than my family, but that goes without saying.” He also laments “the art that people have, here they are duller than a chalk sandwich.”
