A mother of five was killed by a car while trying to save her daughter from thugs in the middle of the road in Texas, USA

A Texas mother of five was killed after being hit by a car in San Antonio while she was trying to save her 11-year-old daughter from bullies in the middle of the street, according to local police.

Ashley Lopez, 28, was in the middle of an argument that authorities said involved at least 30 people and began arguing with another woman on the night of January 11.

Penny Gomez, 36, who was also involved, left and got into a silver Hyundai Sonata and intentionally rammed into the two women, killing Lopez. and injured the woman he was fighting with.

To make matters worse, someone noticed that Lopez was under Gomez’s car and tried to pull her out, while Gomez dragged her 20 to 30 feet.

Witnesses captured the horrific incident on cell phone cameras, and two passengers in Gomez’s car got out and returned to the scene to double-check.

Ana Blanco, Lopez’s mother, spoke on Sunday and said she only had one question: Why would you do this?

Notably, she was already wanted on unrelated drug possession charges. When asked about the hit-and-run, Gomez responded by demanding his right to an attorney.

Blanco and Mata say they plan to attend the hearing in hopes of finding out why Lopez was killed.

However, Gorelov was released on bail last Monday, November 14, despite the Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office stating that a bail motion was set for Tuesday. The prosecutor’s office said it is currently trying to revoke the bond.

Fairfax Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano said the chief district court judge has barred his office from participating in the indictment.

Madsen, for his part, told Fox 5 That prosecutors may attend to charges that, according to him, were reiterated to him in August.

According to Fairfax County Police, Gorelov shot the dog shortly before 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, after a verbal altercation with the animal’s owner in the hallway of an apartment complex.

The owner then picked up the dog and began to run, but as it tried to escape, Gorelov followed them and fired several more shots at the dog. After shooting the animal, Gorelov returned to his nearby apartment.

Upon learning of the incident, the police called Gorelov and he presented himself to the authorities. When officers arrived, they found the owner standing over the injured dog.

Detectives later searched Gorelov’s apartment after the shooting and discovered the gun used on the dog.

So far, district court clerk Susan Madsen said that Gorelov He was arraigned, given a $10,000 secured bond, and a public defender was appointed.
