Laura Hamilton shares memories of home as she leaves
Laura Hamilton has removed photos of husband Alex Goward from her social media accounts after announcing over the weekend that they had split.
The 39-year-old TV presenter released a statement on Saturday in which she said her 13-year relationship with insurance broker Alex has come to an end. They have two children together.
Fans have since noticed that Laura has been deleting photos of Alex from her Instagram and Facebook pages, leading to speculation that the split was amicable, which may be a little farther from the truth.
A friend of Laura’s has said that the TV star was advised to remove the photos for “safety and security” reasons, adding that no third parties were involved in the couple going their separate ways.

Speaking to MailOnline, the friend said: “Laura and Alex will continue to co-parent their two children and go on family vacations.
“The split was amicable and no one else was involved.
“It is true that she has removed photos of Alex, but this was due to safety and security concerns, and the process began before the announcement of their split.”
Laura shared the sad news in an Instagram post on Saturday that their nine-year marriage has come to an end.

She posted a picture of a framed quote, which read: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
In the caption accompanying the picture, Laura wrote: “This is not something I ever thought I was saying, but after 13 years of being together Alex and I have split.
“We have children and will always be our number one priority and we will respect the privacy of our family at this time.”
The separation comes just weeks after enjoying a family break in Lapland with eight-year-old son Rocco and six-year-old daughter Tahlia.
On Sunday, Laura shared on social media that they were leaving the family where they lived during the wedding.

She shared photos of how she transformed the property over the years, which she said was a place where she “made some incredible memories”.
Laura wrote: “Today we close the door and say goodbye to the home we have loved and enjoyed for the past 9 years – the longest I have lived anywhere in my entire adult life!
“It was a house we transformed (as you can see in the photos), but more importantly, it was a house where we made some incredible memories that we will cherish forever…
“Change can be scary but you know what’s scary? Allowing the fear to stop you from growing, developing, and moving forward.”
Laura continued: “When it’s too scary to jump, that’s when you jump, otherwise you’re in the same place for the rest of your life, and I can’t do that.”
