The Atria is a very special place to eat in downtown Flagstaff. This is a young restaurant, barely a year after it opened, and it really feels like something new.
The restaurant is located at 103 N Leroux St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001, USA. It is advisable to make reservations to avoid long queues.
From the decoration of its spaces, it makes us feel something new, different, modern and expansive.
It has the concept of an open kitchen, in which you can sit at the bar and the chefs almost have you to ask, talk and tell about the dishes because only they know how to do them.
Speaking of chefs, Rachel Daniels was a semifinalist at the 2022 James Beard Foundation Awards.
On this trip, we perused a tasting menu that took us through all kinds of flavors and sizes. We recommend this option when it is available and we have an extensive and tempting menu of many things to try.
And with that we begin.
Seeing as how the dishes are prepared, something that caught our attention was the dedication and perfectionism they gave to everyone who left the kitchen.
Regarding food, we tasted vegetables, meat, pasta, fish and things that in my case I had never tried, such as snails.
I love how each dish is served garnished and placed in a container that differentiates what you eat.
Being the tasting menu, they were a bit small, but, with so many options, you end up with a lot in the end.
A separate paragraph for the quality of desserts. They are all made on site.
The quality and presentation lived up to the flavors.
According to what they told us, the ingredients used in their recipes last no longer than 24 hours from the time they are brought to the restaurant until they are used. This is a high quality space, where the simplicity of its chef is visible when sharing a word with the guests.
