A TMC worker lodged an FIR against Mithun Chakraborty, accusing him of inciting violence

New Delhi: Mrutyunjay Paul, a Trinamool Congress worker in West Bengal, has filed a police complaint against actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty. Paul alleges that Chakraborty used to provoke BJP workers to spread violence and hatred in West Bengal. In his complaint, Paul has also made similar allegations against West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh.

Significantly, the violence erupted in West Bengal as soon as the election results were declared. According to the information, fourteen people have been killed in this violence so far.The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleges that the violence took place under the patronage of the ruling Trinamool Congress.

On Thursday to take stock of the violence-hit areas A special team of the Union Home Ministry has reached West Bengal. This team of four members has gone to visit North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Thursday.

Explain that to assess the post-election violence in West Bengal, a four-member team was formed under the leadership of an additional secretary rank officer who would assess the bingeing situation in the state and submit a report to the Union Home Ministry .

In fact, on Monday, the Home Ministry had sought a detailed report on the violence from the West Bengal government and asked to ensure that such incidents were stopped as soon as possible before any additional damage could be done. After this, the Ministry had also issued a reminder in this regard on Wednesday.
