The Collegiate Nursing Organization will tour all Spanish provinces with a large mobile unit in the format of an expandable trailer, which is already being prepared in an industrial warehouse in the Malpica Industrial Estate to give visibility to the profession and promote health . In this vehicle, the population will be able to find out their health status, undergo certain diagnostic tests and seek advice from professionals in an unprecedented initiative. Currently, the vehicle is being produced at the facilities of Alegría Activity, a Vitoria-based company in Zaragoza.
The initiative, which has been described by General Nursing Council officials as “ambitious” and “complex”, has been organized in collaboration with professional nursing associations from various provinces. This great health trailer, the ‘Nurse Route’, will travel through all communities for approximately one year to promote healthy habits among people of all ages and raise awareness among the population about the essential work of these professionals. It will leave in June and visit the northern part of the country, after a break in August, continuing its journey through other municipalities. In autumn it may reach Aragon, although the exact circuit has yet to be specified. Under the slogan ‘We take care of you for life’, the trailer will reach major cities to bring the figure of nurses closer to the population.

Not there” “.
This vehicle, which the Alegria-Activity Company from Zaragoza is in charge of preparing, will include a whole variety of resources to provide videos and information for all types of audiences. Two nurses will travel permanently in the trailer and each city will have the support of professional associations. There will also be workshops and talks on various topics such as breastfeeding, diabetes, first aid, mental health in adolescents… Two stalls will have different tests for people, such as spirometry or glucose measurement.
