Both on the street and within the organization, the impressions are unanimous. Good weather, combined with great shows like Les Cowboys Fringants or Tim McGraw, contributed to this success.
“It has been better than other years and it will continue to be that way. Since the pandemic, it had decreased. Then everything returns to normal,” summarizes volunteer Marcel Morin.

The president of the Saint-Tite West Festival, Nadia Moreau, is already looking forward to seeing the figures from a company on site to record various data, including attendance.
“Both on the weekend and during the week, that’s what stands out a lot. From our organizational perspective, from our perspective as the people of Saint-Tite, there were many people. We had a lot of sold out shows over the weekend. But even during the week in the streets, people were present.”
$387,505…half and half
New this year is a huge 50/50 online jackpot. In the end, the amounts raised totaled $387,585, half of which was given to a participant who did not need to be on site. The number of tickets sold exceeded 490,000 in more than 15,000 transactions.
“I don’t know if that surprises us. We have always had halves and halves here on the street, on the site. This year, we’re sharing the festival’s grand prize pool online. (…) What are we going to do with this money? Half goes to the winner. Then, there is still a portion that goes to certain local organizations. I guarantee you that we will invest the rest to make a colorful 56th edition,” emphasizes the president.
The winner would be contacted by phone on Sunday.
A postmortem will have to be done, but there’s a good chance this big prize pool will return next year.
A popular application
Furthermore, the new mobile application for festival attendees has been downloaded around 8,000 times. It was possible to consult the programming and receive alerts.
“We are satisfied. There were many things during the edition that we said we should include in the application. But the first year is already a great success and we plan to bring it back next year in an even improved version,” underlines the president.
The application will return next year, in an improved version.
