Actor Kimberly Elise rages on Twitter for celebrating the end of Roe V. Wade

“For Colored Girls” Actor Kimberly Elise set the internet on fire after she shared a message outlining the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to oust Roe v. Wade to overthrow, price.

Elise took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a picture of a sleeping baby along with the caption, “Millions of babies will be saved from death by abortion as a result of the overthrow of Roe V. Wade. Hallelujah! #allglorybetoGod”Next to a series of emojis, including babies and festive hands.

The actor’s remarks came days after the court’s ruling ended the nearly 50-year-old legal precedent that protected abortion rights, giving states the green light to significantly restrict access to reproductive health care.

Elise’s placement featured Scripture Psalm 139: 13-14. “For you have formed me within; You knitted me together in my mother’s lap. I praise You, for I am made terrible and wonderful. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows this very well, ”reads the scripture.

“It’s because I’m Catholic and it’s my faith,” Hostin said on Monday during the talk show. “It has always been a very difficult discussion for me. “But what is not difficult for me is the fact that it is an activist Supreme Court and they should not decide the law on the basis of their faith.”

Elise, who made her film debut in “Set It Off” in 1996, did not respond to the setback.
