Additional Protocol to Labor Insertion Program

The signing of this Protocol represents an important step in continuing to promote job placement in Tierra del Fuego.

The Minister of Labor and Employment of the Province, Karina Fernandez, and the Secretary of Employment of the Nation, Leonardo Di Pietro, signed the Additional Protocol to the present agreement for the implementation of the Labor Inclusion Program (PIL). The objective of the agreement is to engage the unemployed workers in quality jobs, thus boosting the economic development of the region.

Karina Fernandez stressed that “the signing of this agreement is an important step in our commitment, as a government, to continue to provide new opportunities to those who face the greatest difficulties in their job search.”

“Labour engagement is much more than creating jobs, it is a comprehensive strategy that seeks to offer opportunities for personal and professional development,” reflected the Labor Minister for Employment.

The PIL seeks to provide job opportunities to people who are unemployed and facing difficulties in entering the labor market.

Through this initiative, companies hiring unemployed people will get financial assistance. In this regard, Fernandez said that “we want to promote greater participation of the private sector in the creation of inclusive and quality jobs.
