After 11 months in Jammu and Kashmir, all private and government schools will be reopened from February 1. Jammu and Kashmir School Education Board gave its information on Friday. Schools were closed in March last year due to the influence of Corona in Jammu and Kashmir. Although students continued to study through online classes.
In the first phase, classes from class nine to 12th will be started in the schools of summer zone of Jammu division from February 1. In the second phase, classes from classes one to eight will start from February 8. This order will be applicable to both government and private educational institutions. Corona guidelines will be fully followed in opening schools.
Students will be placed at a distance of 2 meters
It has been said in these guidelines that students will be placed at a distance of 2 meters from each other. If it is difficult to sit children together in classrooms, then classes will be organized in rotation and shift. It is necessary for teachers and students to wear masks. Soap will have to be provided to the students at the place of hand washing.
No transaction allowed
It has been instructed that all children and teachers should bring their own stationery and books. Pencils, pens will bring everything together. Transactions from anyone are completely banned. There should be a separate room for sick students and teachers. 24-hour counseling facility will be provided by Directorate School Education Department, Jammu. No outsiders are allowed inside the schools.
88 new cases of corona virus infection
Significantly, after the arrival of 88 new cases of Corona virus infection in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, a total of 1,23,852 cases of infection have been reported in the state so far. At the same time, with the death of four more patients in the same period, 1,928 people have lost their lives due to this deadly virus. Officials said that out of the new cases, 42 were registered in Jammu division and 46 in Kashmir division.
A new case was not found in these districts
Officials said that not a single new case of infection was reported in Shopian, Kathua, Samba, Kishtwar, Reasi and Ramban districts while a single number of new cases were registered in 12 other districts. He said that 1,098 patients are under treatment in the Union Territory and 1,20,826 people have been infection free so far. According to officials, two Kovid-19 patients died in both areas of Jammu and Kashmir during the last 24 hours.
