Dr. Kafeel Khan’s book ‘Gorakhpur Hospital Tragedy’ was published in New Delhi. In the book, the doctor mentioned a painful medical crisis. In his book he wrote how a doctor deals with such a great tragedy. He has denied all charges against him. In his book, he has also raised questions about the government machinery and provided a full report on the Gorakhpur oxygen incident. He has also alleged that due to non-payment of the outstanding amount of Rs 68 lakh for oxygen, oxygen was even provided to the medical college. But the government, despite hiding its mistakes, put all the blame on me.

He said that the story of this film was the same as what happened to me, except that in the film the Health Minister confessed his crime and Dr. Iram Khan then received justice. But in real life I didn’t get justice, I’m still fighting for justice.
The Gorakhpur Hospital Tragedy was published in six languages
Dr. Kafeel Khan told that I have written a book on the oxygen incident that happened in Gorakhpur BRD Medical College. This book titled Gorakhpur Hospital Tragedy is published in India and abroad in six languages including Hindi and English. He said that it was possible that the script of this film was written from my book.
