Blizzard put the ages of characters in Overwatch 2, but many fans think they made it all up. For example, Kiriko and Hanzo are only 19 years apart; something that makes sense if we forget history.
Overwatch 2 is still available pc Steam Deck, PS4, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch despite criticism and fewer players, but Blizzard went one step further by giving age to the heroes on F2P.
Ever since Overwatch was born, its story has been told between animated shorts and comics instead of a PvE campaign. Of course, going from not knowing any age to having them all is a bit…crazy?
As we read in Kotaku, the -so far- 38 heroes and heroines of Overwatch 2 They already have a birthday on the official website and it’s strangely inappropriate for the known timeline.
Blizzard updated it subtly this week and there are some reasonable ones, like Soldier: 76, Ana and Reaper are 58, 62 and 60 years old respectively. And also that the new Illari is 18 years old or DVA 21, because they are outside of Overwatch timeline.
But the aforementioned media proves that things are not good when we compare the canonical ages of the more important characters, like Kiriko as the last Support character.
Blizzard showed it saying that grew up with Genji and Hanzo and he even trained with the two of them in swordsmanship, but now things are not appropriate for everyone’s official age.

Genji and Hanzo are 37 and 40, but Kiriko is 21. Although each character has a look that matches their age, it doesn’t match the story and is even less than his animated short.
From Attack of the Fanboy they gather some examples of fans who focus on more weirdness and contradictions, like Sojourn.
