Airzona Group, manufacturer of air conditioning control systems, has achieved a turnover of more than €90 million in 2022, an increase of 25% compared to 2021. Economic data, which is confirmed in the number of solutions for air conditioning control. Around the world, more than 25,000 tricks have been made. Airzone ended the year with offices in Spain, France, Italy and the United States. Airzona thus achieved a 75% increase in its exports, distributing its solutions to more than twenty markets. Airzona adds a human team of 380 professionals in 2022, almost 10% more than the previous year. The company will continue to bet on the city of Malaga as a driver of innovation to maintain its leadership within a highly competitive sector.
“Financial year 2012 for Airzone was a good year. In addition to positive data, we established important agreements with suppliers and distributors and entered new markets. All our actions are aimed at promoting responsible energy consumption by controlling air conditions, highlighting the real work of society to achieve a responsible and climate-conscious sector conditions,” said Anthony Mediato, founder and CEO of Airzona. All progress in 2022 is the result of the firm’s commitment to new technology and innovation. This translates into 7% more investment in research, a figure that Airzone expects to exceed this year. In 2023, the company will continue to have the contribution of the local economy as one of its objectives within its business plan.
The company has created the “Airzone Chair of Innovation and Intelligent Management in buildings for the Green Transition” at the University of Malaga with the aim of promoting training in innovation and energy efficiency. Airzona is committed to promoting talent in the field of product quality, R&D and development. Thanks to this new project, the Malacca company strengthens its relationship with the institution and confirms its commitment to young people and local talent.
“One of our main milestones for 2022 is undoubtedly the announcement of the new Chair promoted by Airzone. With it we hope to strengthen our work with new talent, promote their training and inclusion within the sector”, added Mediato.
Airzona remains committed to Malaga and its industrial development, promoting the renewal of the sector in the region. Last June the company announced an investment of more than €8.5 million for the construction of a new production center in the city. Airzon celebrates its 25th anniversary on a trajectory marked by innovation, digitization and sustainability.
