SACRAMENTO, California. – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has announced that it will deploy more officers to the Stockton area due to the possibility of a large sideshow taking place on highways from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

The invitation through various social networks to an event called “LA to the Bay” and “Cali vs Everyone” has alarmed the authorities, especially in Northern California.

According to the information that the Stockton division of the CHP has part in the call for the big sideshow, the County of San Joaquín is the meeting place for the organization of the prohibited drag races.

Northern California on alert for a possible big sideshow

Several law enforcement agencies in Northern California spread their social networks about the dangers and consequences of participating in street races known as sideshows.

For its part, Sacramento Police seem to be controlling the roads, as well as Bay Area police, leaving San Joaquin County as an option for sideshow drivers.

In particular, Stockton was targeted, a city where many sideshows have been organized.

The authorities remember that participating in this type of clandestine racing, whether as a driver or a spectator, is punishable by law.
