Alicante will invest 2 million euros in the promotion of tourism

The duration of both the contracts will be two years, extendable for two more. It will be judged through economic and qualitative parameters among the proposals to be submitted. The Tourism Board will continue to decide the promotional activities to be developed and the manner in which they are carried out and the successful bidder will be in charge of its management.

In the case of a service contract to carry out the marketing and promotional functions of Alicante as a tourist destination, the Company shall provide the Board of Trustees with the necessary services for the organization and participation in the city’s promotional events, destination presentations among others. City, attendance at industry fairs and organizing family trips among others.

This includes the assistance of qualified personnel, catering services, the search and assembly of spaces, rooms, stands and stages, depending on the requirements, audio-visual equipment and its assembly.

The services should support the operational plan of the Municipal Tourist Board as well as international, national and local actions developed in collaboration with Tourisme, Costa Blanca and Turespaa.

The Alicante Tourist Board’s promotional lines include a number of products that range from culture and leisure related to the sun and the beach and tourism to gastronomy, sports, congresses, filming and cruises, among others, and each has a specific action plan. for which it is necessary to contract many services for its agile and correct development.
