All ready to celebrate the cry for independence in Aguascalientes

Everything is ready to celebrate the Call for Independence in the Plaza de la Patria in Aguascalientes on September 15, the 213th anniversary. Around 800 public safety, rescue and disaster response elements will be very vigilant in this area, providing necessary assistance to thousands of visitors and experience first-hand the commemoration of the beginning of the Revolutionary War.

For this celebration, a musical show has been organized with the performance of the artist Carlos Rivera, who will enliven the national holiday as soon as Governor Tere Jiménez steps onto the balcony to lead the traditional celebration.

Before that, access to the Government Palace will begin at around 6:00 p.m. for 5,000 people who will taste snacks as part of the national holiday.

At 8:45 p.m. the doors of the palace will be closed and the organizational protocol will begin at around 11:00 p.m. with the performance of the official ceremony of the Scream. From this moment on, the light and pyrotechnics show will take place, which will later lead to Carlos Rivera’s artistic event.

And after 24 hours the event is over. And all traders positioned around the Plaza de la Patria must stand up and the event organization staff will remove the metal structures from the set up premises. Traffic will be opened around 1 a.m. and Madero Avenue will be closed again at 7 a.m. All this to make way for the traditional civil-military parade that will take place on September 16 at 9 a.m. sharp.
