Here we are telling you about the top 5 best selling cars of September. In this, the top 2 vehicles belong to Maruti Suzuki only. Both of these surpassed all other SUVs in sales.

Maruti Suzuki Alto has been the best selling car in September. Maruti Suzuki Alto has sold 12,143-unit in September 2021. Whereas in the same month last year, 18,246-units of the car were sold. In this way, Maruti Suzuki Alto has managed to come in the first place despite a decline of 33 per cent in sales last month. The car gets a 0.8-litre petrol engine, which generates 47bhp at 6,000rpm and 69Nm of torque at 3,500rpm.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been the second best selling car in the country in September. It is really shocking to see this 7 seater MPV in the top 5 list. Ertiga has registered a growth of 13 per cent in sales with 11,308-unit sales last month. In the same month last year, 9,982 units of Ertiga were sold. It gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which generates 105bhp and 138Nm of torque. The special thing is that it is also available with CNG option.

Kia Seltos
The Kia Seltos was the best selling SUV in September, while being at the third position in the top 5 selling cars. A total of 9,583 units of Kia Seltos were sold in September 2021. Whereas in September 2020, it sold 9,079 units. In this way the SUV has registered a growth of 6 percent.

Tata Nexon
Tata Nexon with 5-star safety rating has become the best selling subcompact SUV in the country. A total of 9,221 units of Tata Nexon have been sold in September 2021. While 6,007-units of the car were sold in the same month last year. In this way, this sub-compact SUV has registered a growth of 53 percent.

Hyundai Creta
In September, Hyundai Creta was overtaken by Kia Seltos by a huge margin. According to Hyundai, there has been a decline in sales due to the shortage of semiconductors. Hyundai Creta, which is ranked fifth in sales, sold 8,193 units in September 2021. Whereas in the same month last year, 12,325-units of the car were sold. In this way, there has been a decline of 34 percent in the sales of this compact SUV.
