Amaia Salamanca brought Hollywood splendor to the Cannes red carpet on the festival’s fourth night. He has done it with a style inspired by the great divas of the Seventh Art, signed by Atelier Pronovius and created by Antonia Peirce. The dress is made in two different qualities and colors: the skirt in Italian crepe in intense black, and the bodice in red silk Mikado. The gorgeous skirt is made of a mermaid cut, very tight to the body, with an opening on the left side and a stunning train of 2 m and 40 cm long. The bodice is strapless, tailored with an inner corset for an impeccable fit, and embellished with organic draping that gives life to the asymmetrical sleeves and wrap around neckline. Dramatic satin opera gloves complete the fabulous look in true Rita Hayworth style. The creation of this dress required approximately 60 hours of sewing and 30 more hours for modelling, developed at the artisan atelier the firm has at its headquarters in Barcelona.

The jewelry chosen by Amaia Salamanca matches the design that has made her one of the most sophisticated on the red carpet. The protagonist of Bienvenidos al edén chose vintage high jewelry pieces courtesy of Del Páramo Vintage, featuring white gold settings and pavé brilliant-cut diamonds. They are ‘petal’ earrings of Italian origin that date from the 1980s and were made with over 14 carats of diamonds.
