Canaan alludes to the lack of legal, judicial and moral authority loyal to Europe and the United States to express their views on judicial and human rights issues in other countries.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry and the head of the branch himself expressed disapproval of the UN Human Rights Council’s condemnation of the recent death penalty and their position in Tehran regarding the months-ago demonstrations, stressing that the resolution “is selective and its political objectives”.
