American golfer Sahith Theegala claimed his first PGA Circuit title this Sunday by winning the Fortinet Championship in Napa in his home state of California.
Theegala, who started the final round with a two-shot lead over his pursuers, held his own until he completed his performance with a round of 68, four under par and a total of 267 (-21).

The Californian golfer, who had competed in 73 PGA events by the age of 25, celebrated his victory on the Silverado Resort golf course in front of a crowd of fans, family and friends.
South Korea’s Kim Seonghyeon finished two shots behind Theegala and Australia’s Cameron Davis finished four shots behind.
American Scottie Scheffler, Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy and Spanish Jon Rahm, the top three finishers in the PGA rankings, did not take part in the event.
