America’s global status brightens under Biden, find recordings

America’s global reputation has improved significantly since Joe Biden replaced Donald Trump as president, a new survey by the Pew Research Center performances.

More than 60% of citizens in the 16 countries where the surveys were conducted expressed confidence that Biden would ‘do the right thing’ in dealing with world affairs, the survey found.

The survey showed that the country’s favorable ratings began to recover after falling significantly during Trump’s four years in the White House.

America’s favoritism ratings have risen by as much as 30% since last year in related countries such as Germany and France. Positive views of the US last year approached the highest lows in the two countries as well as Canada, the UK and Japan.

In France, the positive views of the US, according to the survey, more than doubled to 65% from 31% last year. During each of Barack Obama’s eight years as president, at least 6 out of ten French citizens viewed the US favorably.

The recording was released one day after Biden arrived in Britain during his first trip abroad as president, with the intention of strengthening America’s global position and strengthening relations with key European allies.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are greeted and walk with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie Johnson ahead of the G-7 summit on 10 June 2021.

Despite America’s improved global position, the survey shows that many of the 16 countries surveyed are skeptical of the US as an international partner and as a working democracy.

Majority in most countries say that American democracy has been a good example, but not in recent years. ‘

Only 20% of citizens in the 16 countries believe that the US is a ‘very’ reliable ally, while the majority in most of them say that it is ‘somewhat’ reliable. About one-third of citizens in Canada, France, Greece and Spain believe that the US is not a reliable global partner.

From May 12 to 26, Pew interviewed 16,254 adults in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, South Korea, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
