At the same time, mass sampling of migratory birds has started in Gharana Wetland located in RS Pura sector of Indo-Pak international border of Jammu. These samples have been started by the Animal Husbandry Department and the Wildlife Department.

Sampling of birds is being sent to Jalandhar, so that it can be ascertained whether the migratory birds that have reached Wetland have any symptoms of bird flu. More than 150 species of migratory birds are reaching Wetland. The special thing is that dead migratory bird hatched geese in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh are seen in most of the homes of Jammu in Wetland. In such a situation, an alert has been issued by the Animal Husbandry and Wildlife Department and along with the birds are being closely monitored.
