Twitter had temporarily locked the account of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on November 12. He took this decision because of an error he had inadvertently made. However, his fans were quite upset due to not seeing the profile photo of Amit Shah during this. Many people started sharing screenshots of this and started questioning this action of Twitter on social media. In such a situation, after some time, Twitter had blocked their account and canceled the decision and also re-installed the photo. After this, now his DP is also showing in his account and he is also tweeting the poster.

In this regard, a spokesperson for microblogging site Twitter said, “Due to an error, we temporarily closed this account under our Global Copyright policies.” Clicking on the DP of Twitter account of Union Home Minister Amit Shah did not show the picture. The profile photo was replaced by a blank page, with a message stating that the profile photo was removed as part of a copyright case.
