Amy Schumer opens up about plastic surgery: ‘I feel good’

Amy Schumer says she has regained her strength.

The ‘I Feel Pretty’ star opened up about her plastic surgery in an Instagram post on Monday, along with two photos of the comedian on the beach.

“I feel good. Finally. It’s been a journey, thanks for helping me get my energy back @seckinmd (endo) @jordanternermd (lipo).”

The comedian said she “never thought I’d do anything other than talk to me after your uterus hasn’t contracted for 2.5 years and you’re 40.” The actor also yelled, “@paulvincent22, Vicki Lee (acupuncture), my toxicosis girl Nicole, my friends and family.”

“Let’s go to!” she added.

Many of the actor’s friends commented on the emoji in support of Schumer’s exposure, and Michelle Pfeiffer conveyed her congratulations.

While Schumer’s outspokenness is nothing new, her openness about plastic surgery is unlike many in Hollywood.

In another recent Instagram post, which has since been deleted on Schumer’s personal page, “Inside Amy Schumer” was also candid about getting fillers and then removing them again.

“I tried to get fillers. Turns out I was already full,” Schumer said back in December. “Thank God you can dissolve them, I looked like a mischievous one.”

Dermatologist Dr. Jodi LoGerfo explained how and why she dissolved Schumer’s fillers.

“Using a dermal filler can be a great way to replenish lost volume and enhance your face, but filler placement is extremely important!” she wrote, adding that Schumer “came to me after filling elsewhere and we decided that the place where the filler was placed wasn’t ideal, so we dissolved it!”

“Dissolving the filler is a very simple and quick treatment,” she explained. “I injected hyaluronidase (an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid) to dissolve it!”
