Peruvian priest Jorge Vargas, who has almost 200,000 followers on TikTok, shared a video in which he sent a message to people who love him a lot for his care.
It is customary for the religious to answer the questions which the parishioners send to him, thus asking: “Do I have too much charity for my pet?” Then George began his answer: “Yes, all love must be ordered, excessive love is a sign of disordered love.” Animals are animals, they don’t like to humanize animals, that can be a problem”.
The priest continues: “You can have your pet and, if he dies, you can cry and have a time of mourning, even because they are companions, they cheer you up and accompany you. But we can never harvest this feeling, because if we acquire them, we run the risk of letting the person down.”
Jorge Vargas then recalled that at some point a friend told him something he disagreed with, saying that he had “crossed the line”: “I love my dog more than anyone in the world.”
And he said: “It is not only a problem to put on your family, but an animal is not more valuable than a human being, and although some people here take hives and disturb, no, not even human animals.”
Finally he pointed out: “Take care of this. Love them many, worship them, keep them, let us protect them, not at the expense of humanity”.
The publication generated various comments against religious proverbs: “Well, I entered, the more I know a man, the more I love my dog”, “animals sometimes have a purer love for you than the man himself”, “I will give mine”. the dog is always there. “above all man, he is the best in my life”, “I have done all my care more humanely and I always do”, “well, if animal lovers are humanized, I will continue to care for them”.
To this last message, the priest replied: “He really loves someone or something, for what he is, not because of what I want.”
