An impressive night view of the five planets can be seen tonight

Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus and Mars will clash with the Moon in the sky this week, although tonight will be the best time to observe the unusual conjunction of the five planets. Commonly known as a “ready” planet, this rare astronomical phenomenon will be appreciated just after sunset, when there are still several tracks and the sky has turned blue, but not yet black, according to experts from the National Administration of the United States of America. and Space Administration (NASA).

Jupiter, Venus and Mars will be the most visible planets, while you will need to use binoculars to see Mercury and Uranus.

Experts have explained that Jupiter and Mercury will be placed closer to the horizon, Mars will be on one side of the Moon with Venus on one side, and Uranus will appear as a green star above the Earth’s satellite.

According to Jake Foster, an astronomer at the Royal Greenwich Observatory in London, UK, such features are characteristic of our perspective from Earth.

“The planets are not aligned at the moment, they are all scattered in the Solar System. But from our perspective, from time to time they come close enough to each other in the sky that we can see them together.

He explained that the best way to tell if you want to look at planets or stars is by what kind of light they emit.

“The stars twinkle, but the planets do not.” So if you see a bright steady light and not flashing or flickering, you’re almost certainly looking at one of these planets,” Foster said.

The event that we appreciate in these last days of March is known as “planetary alignment” and is divided into different types, according to the number of planets involved.

Thus, in a mini planetary alignment three planets intervene, in a small one four, in a large one five or six, and in a large or complete one all the planets of the solar system participate, plus Pluto sometimes.
