AN will debate Venezuela’s gold eviction by the United Kingdom

Caracas. , The National Assembly (AN), in a general session next Thursday, on a decision by a British court to ignore the legitimate authorities of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) and prevent Venezuelan authorities from using its gold reserves agreed to argue. Deposited in the Bank of England.

The request was made by the deputy of the National Assembly for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jesus Farias, who rejected the actions promoted by the government of the United States (USA).

During his right to speak, Farias said that “this is a great fight to defend the freedom of our country, which is under threat.”

In this regard, he highlighted the work done by the national government to guarantee the country’s peace and sovereignty, despite attacks against the country’s stability.

“No one can doubt here that it has been the Bolivarian Revolution, which has guaranteed the sovereignty of the motherland, that we can not have the slightest doubt because of the invasion that has been subjected to it. There is a political responsibility that we have. To be clear to our country, there was involvement of political actors, especially not those who still work as puppets today,” the MP asserted.

In this sense, he referred to the economic, financial and commercial blockade that Venezuela is suffering, which has prevented the country from receiving billions of dollars to serve the people.

Despite these coercive measures, Farias indicated; “We kept the peace, yet there was no rebellion here as North American imperialism intended.”

For his part, the opposition deputy, Jose Brito, joined the British courts in the rejection of Venezuela’s gold evictions and sought justice for all those who promoted sanctions and stole Venezuela’s resources.

“Impunity produces a culmination of progressive facts about him. Let us say that many of us see promoters of gold hijacking, we see them at meetings, conventions, and we see them in those streets of Venezuela. But let’s continue to watch calmly and without nerves,” the MP said.

Given this situation, Brito pointed out, the most affected are the Venezuelans, to whom he indicated that justice should be done and that all resources to the Venezuelan state should be returned.
