ANMAT reported that, in consultation with an individual at the National Food Institute, an investigation was conducted on the product: “Extra virgin olive oil Great taste, Brand King’s Hill Net Cont. 2 L, Best consumed before March 2025, Lot N°: 0002, RNE: 02-270637, RNPA: File: N° 02.645950, Origin Mendoza, Packaged by Casanova SA”.
Which does not comply with the current regulations, because the National Establishment Registry (RNE) and the Food Product Registry (RNPA) noticed that the labels named above are not there.
Furthermore, ANMAT elaborates that “the register does not exist and no records have been found with the company name “Casanova SA” or with the brand “Colina del Rey”.“.
Therefore, the Administration decided to ban the product because “because it lacks sanitary records of establishments and products, because it is falsely labeled by showing non-existent registration numbers on its label, which thus becoming a illegal product“.

The official information published by ANMAT details that the recall applies to the product: LACRINMUNE (CYCLOSPORINE 0.05 g/100 ml), eye drops, container for 5 ml and 2.5 ml, produced in the laboratory of BAUSCH & LOMB ARGENTINA SRL.
The product in question is used as an “immunomodulator, anti-inflammatory agent and direct inhibitor of pathological epithelial apoptosis.” Which, as specified by the organization, has been shown by professionals to “increase tear production in patients where it is likely to be inhibited by the inflammation associated with keratoconjunctivitis sicca.”
