Anne Bouverot (in the photo), the non-executive chairman of Cellnex, has been appointed as a woman, replacing Betrand Kan, who took over the chair of the board of directors after two years, maintaining her status as an independent director.
Bouverot has been an independent director of the company since May 2018 and is part of the Audit and Risk Management Committee (CAGR).
Anne Bouverot’s way of life
He has developed his professional career at the forefront of the technology and innovation industry, in France and throughout the world. After various operational and strategic positions for 19 years at Orange, in the US, UK and France, she was appointed CEO of the GSMA, in charge of organizing the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. He was later CEO of Morpho, a provider of security and identity services.
He has extensive experience in corporate governance, having been an independent director of both listed and privately held technology companies for more than 10 years, from start-up to large groups. Today, he is the president of Technicolor, one of the leading providers of visual effects and animation services to the global media and entertainment industry.
With academia he is also very involved, as President of the Council of the École Normale Supérieure, the leading French “magne école” in the Sciences and Humanities, and co-founder of the Fondation Abeona, a responsible advocate dedicated to artificial intelligence. I’m trying to get her social media to overflow.
In Mathematics from the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, he has a Telecommunications Engineering and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
“With its IPO in 2015, Cellnex became the first independent telecommunications infrastructure operator in Europe,” said Anne Bouverot. “As announced in November, the company is at the beginning of a new chapter, it is growing organically and strengthening its balance sheet. The Board of Directors fully supports this decision and agrees that finding the right successor to Tobias Martinez, who announced that he will step down as CEO in June, is a key priority. On behalf of the entire Council, we would like to thank Bertrand Cani for his hard work and dedication at the helm of the Council over the past two years. I look forward to working with all my colleagues in the Council as we take on this new responsibility as President of the Council.”
