Apple introduces iPhone 15 series with new features

Apple recently held its “Wonderlust” event where it unveiled the highly anticipated iPhone 15 series. One of the notable updates to the new models is the inclusion of a USB-C port, replacing the Lightning port on previous models. Previously, the USB-C port was only available on the Pro models.

The standard models in the series are the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus. The iPhone 15 has a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2556 x 1179 pixels, while the iPhone 15 Plus has a larger 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2796 x 1290 pixels . Both models have a pixel density of 460 per inch.

In terms of size and weight, the iPhone 15 measures 147.6mm x 71.6mm x 7.80mm and weighs 171 grams, while the iPhone 15 Plus measures 160.9mm x 77.8mm x 7.80mm and weighs 201 grams.

Both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are equipped with the A16 Bionic processor. They have a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.6 aperture, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and f/1, 6 aperture. . The front camera has 12 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.9. The devices support charging via the USB-C port, which offers data transfer speeds of USB 2.0.

The iPhone 15 series offers a variety of color options including black, blue, green, yellow and pink. The starting price for the iPhone 15 is $699, while the iPhone 15 Plus starts at $799.

The Pro models in the series, the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, come with additional features and improvements. The screens on both models are similar to the standard models, with the Pro model measuring 6.1 inches and the Pro Max model measuring 6.7 inches.

In terms of physical dimensions, the iPhone 15 Pro is slightly smaller and lighter than the standard iPhone 15, measuring 146.6mm x 70.6mm x 8.25mm and weighing 181 grams. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is slightly larger and heavier, measuring 159.9mm x 76.7mm x 8.25mm and weighing 221 grams.

One of the main differences in the Pro models is the additional telephoto camera. The iPhone 15 Pro features a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and an f/2.8 aperture, while the Pro Max model offers a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and the same aperture . Both models support digital zoom up to 15x and 25x respectively. Storage options for the Pro models include 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB variants.

The Pro models are powered by the most advanced A17 Pro processor. The rear camera setup consists of a 48-megapixel main camera with an f/1.78 aperture, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and an aperture of f/1.78. The front camera has the same 12 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.9. These models support charging via the USB-C port with USB 3 data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are available in colors such as Titanium Black, Titanium White, Titanium Blue and Titanium Natural. The iPhone 15 Pro starts at $999, while the Pro Max model starts at $1,199.

All iPhone 15 series models will be available for pre-order on September 15th and will be released on September 22nd.
