The “ideal” man and woman created by artificial intelligence (AI) have been revealed.
The AI images were created using engagement analytics on social media data, and the results are interesting. The study was conducted by The Bulimia Project.
The Eating Disorders Awareness Group warned that the results are “grossly unrealistic” in the representation of body types, reports the Daily Star.

Meanwhile, the hair color results aren’t the only thing that has raised eyebrows following the findings, reports the Daily Star.
A study by The Bulimia Project using Dal-E2, Stable Diffusion and Midjourney found that the images were highly “sexually charged”.
For women, 37% of AI-generated images featured blonde hair and 53% of photos included women with olive skin.
Lots of brawn, little brain?
The Daily Star says that while the men showed them off with plenty of musculature as they came with marked abs and extra-tight shirts.
The study found that 67% of the men in the images had gray hair, while 63% showed tanned skin.

After using AI to analyze social media audiences as ideal men and women, The Bulimia Project asked her to share her perspective based on images from the internet.
The “perfect” person in 2023 had facial hair and mostly brown eyes and brown hair.
For women, he had brown eyes, brown hair and tanned skin, the Daily Star reports.

The Bulimia Project said: “Given what content social network algorithms use to attract the most attention, it is easy to speculate why AI depictions would be more sexual.”
And they close: “But we can only speculate as to why AI has created so many weird versions of the bodies found on social networks, to begin with, these platforms promote unrealistic body types.”
