Mike Payton, Vice President of MINI for the Americas, and Rainer Braun, President and CEO of BMW Group Latin America, announced that Arturo Ourende, currently part of the Marketing – BMW Brand Experience team at BMW North America, has been appointed Director of MINI Has gone. For the region of Latin America by June 1, 2023.
Arturo Orenday joined the BMW Group in 2015 as Head of Marketing for the BMW brand in Mexico and had different roles in marketing activities.
Arturo has a degree in Financial Administration with a specialization in Marketing and Corporate Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad de México. In addition, he has completed his academic career with studies at Macquarie University in Australia and Alfonso X University in Spain.
The MINI will go fully electric in early 2030 and we are well on our way to the future of premium urban mobility. I am confident that Arturo is the right executive to lead this transformation, driving our electrified “go-kart spirit”, the digitization of the community and MINI’s strategy in the region.
