It has long been unofficially known that Ubisoft is working on the next Assassin’s Creed part, which is believed to be about Bassim. Now the publisher has taken the heck out of the bag and officially unveiled the rumored Assassin’s Creed Mirage (formerly codenamed “Rift”). There is also a first picture which already gives us some information and a teaser as to what to expect.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage Is Official And Coming Soon
in one TwitterPost, we can get our first glimpse of the next Assassin’s Creed title. This not only officially confirms the name Mirage, but also reveals the first photos of the game. Here you can watch it directly:
The picture already tells us something about the new title. The picture clearly shows a young assassin, very reminiscent of Bassim, and the setting also looks westernized – which would fit with previous rumors that the Assassin’s Creed Mirage would be set in Baghdad. The game’s official logo can also be seen for the first time and shows strong similarities with a leaked image that may have already revealed a find in the game:

Unfortunately, the makers have so far left open whether Assassin is really Bassim and whether the game should appear in early 2023, as rumored by the leak. But we shouldn’t wait too long for the new information Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be unveiled in more detail on September 10 at 9 p.m. Ubisoft Forward.
